crash when click other tab

open with some tab on mozilla,
when i click another tab, mozilla always grey color or crash
so i have to close it and restore it

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. One question, Did you upgrade from a previous version or is this a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10?

ok i'm using ubuntu from 8.04 and always upgrade until now 10.10

for the previous version the mozilla is fine, i found this trouble only
on version 10.10

i hope this is can be your information...

Hi,

I've just read this post, and I had the same problem when I wanted to add a web page into my favorite pages: grey screen ... This problem has been solved by changing the appearence in the preferencies. I finally choose something standard like "dust" or "dust sand" and now it works fine.

Try this, in a terminal type:

metacity --replace & exit

Then start up firefox and see if the issue is fixed.

Thanks, but this isn't useful without a backtrace. In any case, we ask users to send crash reports to Mozilla now anyway, using the upstream crash reporter which appears when Firefox crashes. Please do this instead
