slow-down after several minutes

Bug Description

I have a micro PC RAM 2.3 GHz and 256 with a swap partition (SWA) twice the RAM, I have installed Ubuntu 10.4, all starts well but after several minutes the system starts to slow down and not restarted until no reverts to the starting speed.
