No keyboard input after screen saver

Binary package hint: qtcreator

qtcreator does not respond to any keyboard input after gnome screen saver. The mouse works as usually - I can open menus or drag things around with the mouse, but the key presses are ignored. The problem vanished when qtcreator window is minimized and them restored. After next start of the screen saver the problem appears again.

To reproduce:
1) Start qtcreator
2) Wait until gnome screen saver starts
3) Press any key to exit screen saver
4) Try to press any keys - qtcreator does not respond, while its window is focused.

This bug also affects VirtualBox, so this is probably general problem with Qt apps in Ubuntu.

same issue, I start a terminal window and type in it then keyboard use returns to normal. Issue appears when screen saver becomes active.

Keyboard does not work in any open application. can't type till terminal is opened and typed in.

I do not have QT Creator installed. I noticed it with firefox.

I recently found qtcreator and other KDE apps (built with qt) sometimes just fail to resond to any keyboard input and must be restarted to get to work again, really annoying. I'm on archlinux.
