Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
When I try to hibernate or suspend, the screen goes black, and the system refuses to sleep. Checking dmesg I see that ksysguard is responsible (attached).
I'm using a relatively fresh install of Kubuntu 10.10.
lsb_release -rd:
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
apt-cache policy ksysguard:
ksysguard:
Installed: 4:4.5.1-0ubuntu8
Candidate: 4:4.5.1-0ubuntu8
Version table:
*** 4:4.5.1-0ubuntu8 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
What I expect to happen:
The system sleeps or hibernates.
What happens instead:
The screen goes black. All services shut down, but the system will not sleep or hibernate. This happens when sleeping from the Power Management applet, closing the lid, or running pm-suspend.
Same for me, filled a bug on KDE bugzilla /bugs.kde. org/show_ bug.cgi? id=256274
