Bug Description
Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
Summary:
I have had to use a "workaround" to get my hdmi sound to work correctly with my LED tv. I did this by making a default .asoundrc lead to my HDMI:
pcm.!default
{
type hw
card 0
device 3
}
This works great for everything other than flash. For flash it works for HDMI out but if my HDMI cord is not connected, I cannot get flash to work -- the only way is to remove my .asoundrc file and reboot, then flash works through my laptop speakers again. For all other programs this is not the case (VLC, Amarok, XBMC), it just treats HDMI out as the default but if it is not connected then it'll go to laptop speakers.
Expected results:
If HDMI is plugged in on boot then flash sound goes to tv via HDMI cable, if it is not plugged then it goes back to my laptop speakers.
Thanks all

That distro have reached EOL since a while; and such problem has been resolved long ago.
