Bug Description

I get the following message trying to upgrade 10.04 32bit to 10.10

extracting 'maverick.tar.gz
ERROR:root:failed to open tarfile (file could not be opened successfully)
Failed to extract
Extracting the upgrade failed. There may be a problem with the network or with the server.

I have tried changing the servers from which Ubuntu downloads updates but am still receiving the same error message.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike
