The panel menu for the pidgin IM application shows an excessive number submenus for the accounts. Please see the screenshot attached.

It happens with a clean install 10.10 too.
The weird bug also happens with thunderbird, Empathy and some other app that I don't remember

the issue is in appmenu-gtk and is reported as bug 655241 there is a version appmenu-gtk in my ppa (link the duplicate bug) that should solve the problem
