failed to add sip contacts

Binary package hint: empathy

I added my sip account @ekiga.net to empathy.
In account manager it is indicated as available.

However when I'm trying to add <email address hidden> to my contacts list I'm unable to pick my ekiga account from drop-down list.

I can enter contact's account and its alias nevertheless but nothing happened.

This is wrong in all possible ways:

a) it should add contacts for active accounts
b) if there is a error it have to show me clear explanation of what exactly went wrong - and not simply ignore user's actions.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue?
