Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-support

We need to start migrating packages to Python 2.7 which is now a supported version in Natty. While we're doing the transition to dh_python2, we still need python-support (and python-central) to add 2.7. I have patches to both that are ready to go, and just need a sponsor to commit.

After applying the patch from the merge proposal, debs build correctly with the site-packages dirs for python2.7 stripped out.

However, they are still not byte compiled properly.

I am attaching the output of update-python-modules --verbose -f
