Bug Description

Binary package hint: rails

Hi,

after upgrading ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.10, my rails applications are not working anymore.

Usually, in the vendor subdirectory there are several links like

lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 29 2010-05-15 15:17 actionmailer -> /usr/share/rails/actionmailer
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 27 2010-05-15 15:17 actionpack -> /usr/share/rails/actionpack
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 28 2010-05-15 15:17 activemodel -> /usr/share/rails/activemodel
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 29 2010-05-15 15:17 activerecord -> /usr/share/rails/activerecord
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 31 2010-05-15 15:17 activeresource -> /usr/share/rails/activeresource
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 30 2010-05-15 15:17 activesupport -> /usr/share/rails/activesupport
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 16 2010-05-15 15:17 rails -> /usr/share/rails
lrwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 25 2010-05-15 15:17 railties -> /usr/share/rails/railties

but after upgrading to 10.10, the directory /usr/share/rails is completely missing, and apt-file did not indicate any package containing it.

regards

I think this and bug #665903 are probably duplicates.

Probably fixed based on previous "duplicate" comment.
