Bug Description

Binary package hint: language-pack-gnome-de-base

i got a bad ubuntu disk from a friend, it killed my computer somehow, i used a drive scrubber as suggested by a smarter friend, got a new copy of ubuntu 10.10 from a computer store, and this is where im at now, sending this error report. i have no clue what went wrong. i dont know if it is security sensitive or not. this report was filled in automatically.

Is this still an issue?
We can not rule out that physical data loss might have been the reason for your error. Therefore I change the status to opinion now. Feel free to change to closed or invalid or incomplete.
