Bug Description

How about logging the BleachBit usage?

BleachBit could come with a new function "History" which could display (similar to the apt-history in the Ubuntu Software Center) when BleachBit was used in the past & how much files where deleted/removed/cleaned using it.

Like that a user could easily see how useful BleachBit was for him in the past.

BleachBit would clean this sort of thing in other applications, so there would also need to be an easy way to turn it off.

While old ticket, not a bad idea. Would be easier then navigating through folders trying to find the .log file.

importance: Low → Wishlist
milestone: none → 2.0

Thank you for the interesting suggestion, but it's not in the foreseeable roadmap. By the way, the wishlist has moved to https://github.com/bleachbit/wishlist . I can see the usefulness, so perhaps someone else can implement this enhancement, or check back in a while later.

After BleachBit finishes the overhaul to GTK+ version 3 might be a good time for improvements to the BleachBit GUI. This might happen with BleachBit version 3.

Changed in bleachbit:
importance: Wishlist → Undecided
milestone: 2.2 → none
status: Triaged → New
