Bug Description

Unable to complete basic operations like ‘delete a file’ in the dash. Although the files place is not a Nautilus replacement, it must offer the most commonly used file management functionality or Nautilus needs to be given more prominence in Unity.

It should be possible to delete a file or folder in the file lens by dragging and dropping it into the Trash Can in the launcher.

There is another bug about the general file management capabilities we
need in the dash... Can't find it now for some reason.

The illumination effect to use for the trash is similar to the one used for the other drop targets. Jason will provide a few examples of what's possible, to be reviewed during the next launcher review.
