Bug Description
Binary package hint: samba
While testing offline logins for laptop users I noticed that restarting winbind (when for instance rebooting the machine) makes offline logins no longer work. This is fixed upstream in 3.5.6 and the 3.4-test branch:

Looks like natty has 3.5.6, so it's fixed there.
