ipod shuffle support is broken

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Preconditions:
1) iPod shuffle 2nd generation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod_Shuffle#Second_generation)

Steps to reproduce:
1) plugin iPod shuffle (Notice: (a) rhythmbox opened (b) new item in the "Devices" branch: iPod shuffle)
2) right-click on iPod shuffle node and select "Properties"
3) rhythmbox crashes with the log:
(rhythmbox:8121): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_instance_get_private: assertion `instance != NULL && instance->g_class != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault

Also I must say even I have previously uploaded to iPod shuffle some music in the left panel of rhythmbox I see nothing

NB: issue is not reproducible using iPod touch 2nd generation.

I forgot to say that in 9.10 rhythmbox was working fine with iPod shuffle 2nd generation, issue happened just after upgrade to 10.10.

can you please try in nautilus(file browser) too? i.e. right click on the ipod there and see if nautilus crashes too. I see the same problem
