thumbnails / in folder view plasmoid do not work

Binary package hint: plasma-desktop

I get no preview / thumbnail of images in my Desktop folder when it is viewed using the folder view plasmoid (on my desktop).

Previews work fine in dolphin, so KDE has access to some sort of thumbnailer.

File types: JPEG images & PNG images.

In the folder view settings / display group, I checked that the previews are turned on and allowed for file types: JPEG images & Images.

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.
