Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

i received apt from adobe flash player site, and installing using that installation cannot completes after a long time ,then i reboot the system, after that it's shown to be installed but on the browser flash sites won,t works, then try to remove the software its fails.....help please

Assuming this is the same issue as on the Ask Ubuntu question, it seems the problem was that the Software Centre could not download the file from the Canonical server.

I think flashplugin-installer should contain a fallback mechanism for cases like this, rather than continually trying and getting stuck in a loop.

Similar is Bug #369025 (though this bug also suggests a problem with the Canonical servers)

I can NOT Install and Run ADOBE software! Specifically Flash Player, Flash Player Mozilla Plug In! Flash Player BUTTON!
I've tried from the Adobe Site and Software Center!

That distro have reached EOL since a while; and such problem has been resolved long ago.
