screen brightness does not increase to normal level after plugging in

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Using Ubuntu 10.10. Installed version of gnome-power-manager is 2.32.0-0ubuntu1.

Plugging in to an outlet should cause the screen brightness to return to its normal level (as specified under System->Preferences->Power Management). Instead, brightness is reduced after plugging in, regardless of what the level was before doing so.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue?
