Bug Description

Binary package hint: udev

Upon upgrading to 10.10 x64 from 10.04 x64 I get garbage from /dev/ttyUSB0 serial port when connecting Autel MaxiScan MS509 auto scan tool.

The scan tool sends non-ascii character at the beginning and at the end of each data set it prints out over USB serial connection. Other than that, it is all ASCII data data and used to work fine until upgrading to 10.10

I booted up with old 2.32-25 kernel and it did not help.

Attached is the output of "lsusb -vv" command as well as sample identical data received on both systems and captured using either "cat /dev/ttyUSB0" or "cu" command.
