Since this update came it will not install. Message came back that it could not install and to report into +aptdameon

can you please run in a terminal
sudo apt-get clean
and run again update manager.

If you are asking me:
Two of my machines required an aptitude clean before I could aptitude update && aptitude safe-upgrade.....
So I'm guessing it is not just some single user fluke, and could happen to more people...

I did not have a problem with today's update. I did have to reboot from the command line as my upper menu restart button disappeared after the update. But all is back after reboot.
