Bug Description

It is not possible to play songs purchased from Ubuntu One thru the rhythmbox plugin. After spending the money ( this works!) rythmbox inidicates in the application window, that the purchased song is in "queued state". It will not download within 16 hours. The state after this time is shown in the attached screenshot.

vjahns - Our internal reporting shows that your song has downloaded to your personal cloud. Is file sync functioning correctly on your computer? You can check if the song has downloaded to your computer by going to ~/.ubuntuone/Purchased from Ubuntu One/. Perhaps it's just a problem with our My Downloads page showing the accurate state of your purchase.

Strange enough the Rhythmbox screenshot now indicates that 0 MB has been downloaded ( see the attached sceenshot), The song is not in the directory which has been mentioned in comment #2.

My home directory is located on an NFS filer ( FreeBSD 8.0).

vjahns - Is file sync functioning correctly for you? When you add a file to ~/Ubuntu One, do you see the same file added to https://one.ubuntu.com/files/ ?

file syncing work correctly on local account, i.e. local account, local
disk. The purchased MP3 is also synced to this account. I still do not
see the file on my NIS account with a NFS share.

I'm not sure I follow -- are you running the Ubuntu One syncdaemon on
two computers, and seeing the files appear in one of your computers and
not on the other?

The file sync only works on local account with local disk. However, this
is configuration unusable for me as I am used to work in a NIS/automount
environment.

I have the same problem. The purchased song frezzes in the "queued state". Restarting Rythmbox doesn't help, but Restarting the Computer does in my case. After a restart the files are downloaded into the hidden .ubuntuone Folder. Syncing doesn't work correctly.

I'm sorry, I had a bug! I had deleted the files in the hidden .ubuntuone folder. So they are deleted in the cloud as well. I thought the songs stay there, but the folders are synced. Sorry.

Having the same problem, tried restarting Rythmbox without success.
Tried u1sdtool -q; u1sdtool --start; u1sdtool -c without success.

 Ouput from u1sdtool --status
    State: QUEUE_MANAGER
        connection: With User With Network
        description: processing queues
        is_connected: True
        is_error: False
        is_online: True
       queues: IDLE

My homedir is not NFS as vjahns.

I can confirm this bug. Manually starting the UbuntuOne preferences and "Restart"ing the sync service delivers my songs, but downing from within the UbuntuOne rhythmbox plugin doesn't work - always stuck on "Queued".
