Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez-utils

I have a Microsoft keyboard and mouse for bluetooth. I have configured them to work properly when I boot Edgy but if I open gnome-terminal, type a few characters in the terminal, and then try to use the mouse, the mouse is disabled. Further I am unable to choose drop-down menus in applications after typing in th eterminal. The same behavior was observed in Dapper. A reboot is required to restore normal functionality with a wired mouse and keyboard. The bluetooth keyboard and mouse work properly in WinXP.
