Bug Description
Ubuntu 10.10. Incorrect letters are drawn in all applications. Rendering errors are always different. In various applications: Gnome Terminal, Firefox, Gedit. Update page does not help. Replacing the font to another does not solve the problem. Font smoothing does not affect the problem. On this computer, Ubuntu 10.04 problem is not observed. Enclose screenshots. Sorry for bad English.

Have you always had this problem in 10.10 or has it happened recently? Can you associate the behavior to an update, change in packages or software sources?
