Kubuntu Mav freezes with Intel i915

When activating the desktop effects, it's not very smooth, and after some time, it completely freezes.

Happens for me every time the Present Windows effect in KDE is used.

Update:

I just updated to the KDE 4.5.2 packages from the Kubuntu PPA and the error has stopped. No more GPU hang with Present Windows. Maybe the 4.5.2 packages should become an official update?

Thanks for following up. We don't have a say in what versions KDE ships, you might talk to the kubuntu guys.
