partial completion of the production order

Hello.
May i have a procurement order to procure 10 "make to order" details. May the manufacturing was completed partially for some unexpected reason.
Then i changed product quantity in production order to 5 ones.
I finished production and the procurement orders(10 details) changed its state to "ready".
Does it do as it should?

Hello Shepilov,

I understand what you are trying to convey, but fortunately the production order which gets created from the procurement has quantity already set to it and the field 'Product Qty' is read-only.

So, I wonder how do you try to change the quantity !

This should actually not happen, unless you have altered the code.

I would like to add:
Even if we change the production quantity from "Change Qty" button, we have a production order for the specified quantity only !
In your case it would produce 5 products and state would be 'Ready to progress'.
It behaves perfectly and this is quite normal.
