Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

After selecting a package in ubuntu software-center you'll get a non modal opened popup asking for your system password,
this one comes up in front of the software center with a blinking cursor, BUT if you start typing you'll cause the software centers search function to filter the list of packages and show your letters = your password in the bottom right corner of the application.

I'd expect one of the following:

A) System password dialog freezes all other apps - like in prevoius versions of Ubuntu
b) the popup automaticly gains focus when launched

Why this is invalid? I experience the same problem on a fresh natty install.

I don't know why the reporter marked it as invalid -- perhaps because it happens only intermittently. Anyway, this is a duplicate of bug 433851.
