don't start freshclam

Bug Description
Binary package hint: clamav
Hello,
There is a problem with the update of clamav, freshclam typing in the terminal does not update the virus database, errors are displayed:
ERROR: Can't open /var/log/
ERROR: Problem with internal logger (UpdateLogFile = /var/log/
Step to reproduce:
1) Open the terminal and type freshclam;
Expected results:
1) Update Virus Database;
Actual results:
1) Do not update the virus database and displays errors.

I'm not sure freshclam was ment to be run by a normal user. There's a freshclam daemon, which runs in the background as 'clamav' user, and it takes care of updating the database. If you run it as a normal user, it won't have permissions to open the logfiles, to open the database directory, etc.
You can check that freshclam is running with the following command:
"ps axu |grep freshclam"
If it's not running, try starting it:
/etc/init. d/clamav- freshclam start
