No way to cancel (retract) pending team invitation

Bug Description

If a team or person is invited to be a member of another team or invitation, that request is held for moderation. If you have a sudden change of heart (or even just realise that you messed up) then there appears to be no way to cancel the pending invitation (even with hand-hacking +member URLs).

Ideally it would be possible for the inviter to cancel a pending invitation.

This is the counter part to bug 130706 [Cannot Cancel Pending Membership Request]. These may be fixable in the same branch.

summary: - No way to cancel (retract) pending group invitiation
+ No way to cancel (retract) pending team invitiation

LOSAs can decline them from the other end, if it is necessary.

Also affects me - This could be a potential problem if a "secure" team's administrator accidentally invited the wrong person.

I'm willing to work on this, but I can't set up a development environment for Launchpad until at least the 12th of September, October at the latest.

Of course, said administrator could simply kick the other person/team out should they accept the invitation...

Affects me too. I'm reaching out to a LOSA for my particular case, and it probably doesn't happen all that often.
