The license text is missing from the latest gnome-system-monitor.
In case it matters I'm using 64-bit Maverick

The license is not missing it is there. GPLv2+ is the correct license. (General Public License)

You can verify it at the following site....

Considering that every other application has it you might understand why it strikes as a little odd to use an entire text panel just to put 'GPL 2+' and not to tell what about it (it's like writing 'Vroomfondel'... we all know you it is, but what is he doing there?).

I understand why you would think this to be the case and I wonder myself why they didn't add more. Since this is more of a question than a bug I am going to move it to the Questions area. Feel free to follow up on it in there and see if you get an answer to this. I will do the same as I am interested in an answer as well. Thanks for taking the time to report this though!
