Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

This occurs when I try to reboot from the live cd after installing the OEM config for Kubuntu 32bit.

Basically, the flow works like this:

Install kubuntu 32bit OEM
reboot
click and run the oem-config icon so it'll run on next reboot
reboot
nepomuk crashes, apport fires
apport tells me that it needs me to install debug symbols
apport tells me that there are no debug symbols
apport tells me that my bug report is useless and to have a nice day not reporting the crash of nepomuk.

So, two issues.

A: nepomuk crashes
B: apport can't install any debug symbols for nepomuk and then refuses to file a bug, forcing me to do it manually.

Well, without actual backtrace this is not resolvable also nepomuk as such does not exists as it is a combination of multiple binaries. I do not suppose you still know which particular binary it was that crashed, so I'll close this report as invalid. Thank you for trying anyway.

Changed in kdebase (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
