New mail with two or more labels are displayed multiple times in the notification

Bug Description
When e-mail arrives through POP3, users can opt for tagging the e-mail with a label automatically. When an e-mail arrives through that route, the notification lists the e-mail twice when Gmail Notifier is set up to monitor both the Inbox and the other label.
I am not sure if this also occurs with user-defined filters.
