Support for Edit Decision Lists

An Decision List contains an ordered list of all of the edits made in a video. More info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edit_decision_list

Adding support for this would hopefully mean going from one program to another would be much easier

Wishlist reported in 2010!! and Still not implemented?? Is it that difficult to output a Simple EDL list out of the Editor??

It's not high on our priority list, and seeing as no one else has contributed a patch, it doesn't appear to be that important to anyone else either.

EDL would be best for lossless workflow in professional world. Every project won't be always rendering out Sequences or Uncompressed AVI/MOVs. EDL/AAF is old form of transferring from one workstation to others. I don't know how it isn't in Top priority list. Even Cinelerra has EDL output. If it is amature audience the openshot is targetting then its enough, but from professional point of this is a major feature.

Well, I have no skills as a coder, so I can't contribute any sort of patches. All I can do is reiterate that this is an important feature for a lot of professionals.

Proper time code implementation (including EDL support) would help make Openshot a great option for a lot of producers/directors/indie filmmakers.
