apport crashes with GLib-GIO:ERROR

Binary package hint: apport

My Gnome session failed to start, so I tried ubuntu-bug to create a bug report. Apport collected the logs and tried to upload the logs to the server, but it crashed. The console prints:

# ubuntu-bug

GLib-GIO:ERROR:/build/buildd/glib2.0-2.26.0/gio/gdbusconnection.c:2270:initable_init: assertion failed: (connection->initialization_error == NULL)

As my gnome session does not start properly, I am running X with the following command:
sudo startx
which may be the cause of the bug.

also appears by startup padre (which doesnt open with segmentation fault) with apport:

apport-bug padre

Have same error while starting startupmanager:

Found solution in my case: ran "sudo startupmanager" instead of "startupmanager".
