Expected: after laptop suspend, bluetooth-applet should detect devices;
Happens: bluetooth-applet only visible options are to turn off/on, and preferences
Steps:
-have a bluetooth device on, like Apple Mighty Mouse
-suspend the laptop
-wake the laptop
-check if mouse is active
Workaround:
-restart the bluetoothd deamon: sudo /etc/init.

I have the same problem (also with a Mighty Mouse) since upgrading to Maverick (final). the workaround (restarting the bluetooth daemon) doesn't solve the problem for me. I also tried to `killall bluetooth-applet` and then restart the applet, without success. I haven't tried yet reloading all the bluetooth kernel modules, will do this next.
