Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Maverick Meerkat :
Applications menu read
OpenOffice... sentation
OpenOffice... readsheet
OpenOffice... processor
These names are useless for newcomer users.
Suggestions
1) Either shorten the names, or reformat the name, so that it makes sense.
2) Make Unity to use two rows instead of one for rendering the name

There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix
If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.
Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
