Bug Description
Binary package hint: gphpedit
gPHPEdit creates unwanted backup files of changed files you save. There seems to be no way disabling this feature, like it is possible in gEdit. This is really quite annoying for me, as my projects now get polluted with unwanted files that I need to remove every time I upload, backup or commit.
Test:
Create new file, say: test.php
Open file with gPHPEdit
Change contents, save file, change some more, save file again
You will now find a test.php~ file in the directory
Thanks!
