Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

(Note: the attached auto-generated information is with the "Blur" plugin OFF. See attached image for what my screen looks like with the "Blur" plugin enabled.)

After upgrading (and reinstalling multiple times) to 10.10, whenever I enable the "Blur" plugin, my screen goes all weird and funky. I used "ubuntu-bug compiz" to generate my system and compiz info since I thought it would be easier then typing it out. I'm using the Radeon xorg driver (since FGLRX is having some pretty major problems currently), which could be why the "Blur" plugin doesn't work (works great with the FGLRX driver on Ubuntu 10.04).

I'm not sure what else to put here, so if you would like me to add anything else, just say so and I'll post it ASAP.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.
