Bug Description
Binary package hint: empathy
Empathy is unable to connect to google talk whenever on a wireless (Wifi/Mobile Broadband) connection. Works just fine for Ethernet.
Use empathy on ethernet and it works fine. Plug out the ethernet wire and connect using a mobile broadband connection or wifi, google talk starts showing network error.
I've encountered this problem on at least 3 laptops with 3 different wifi connections.
Distro: Ubuntu 10.10
Empathy v2.32.0

This bug seems to affect me as well.
A workaround: use Jabber and specify talk.google.com as the server.
