 status confirmed

Thanks for the screenshot. We'll have to make that category set scrollable.

David B, could we setup a pattern for flagging something in the bug
tracker as "needs design for 11.04"? Some combination of affects/tags?

@Mark:
Neil made a fix in -0ubuntu4 which has been uploaded last Friday (elipses) as a workaround. I agree the bug still need design perspective for that as it's only a temporary fix.

That way, we can track a new bug for that issue in Natty I guess.

I would ask first if this wokaround worked for the user with latest version.
@Nils: please use reportbug unity for filing bugs on launchpad, this way, we can know which version of unity you are using. Can you confirm that 0.2.46-0ubuntu4 fixes the issue for you?
(it's already confirmed in spanish and french).

@Mark: yes, for the moment we're linking bugs (or creating new bugs) assigned to ayatana-design to track such tasks. But I'd like to have a more generic mechanism to manage both the flow of tasks/bugs upstream, with a way to have a kanban-style priority list for both design & dx to work on.

The views associated with tags has limits (assignee not shown, no cross-project "joins" afaict), while the milestones view provides that, albeit at the cost of some more management heaviness. I'll review that with the LP folks, but in the meantime, i recommend we continue using 'also affects' -> ayatana-design and use a backlog milestone.

good, thanks for confirming :)

I let it as a duplicate then.
For a long term fix with design input, I think that it should be filed in another bug report.
