Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
After upgrading to 10.10 system would only boot to terminal mode. Observed message 'failed to load screen'. Clean install of 10.10 allowed full boot up but no nVidia hardware screen drivers were installed. Even after using Synaptic to load nVidia v173 the system would not enable the driver. Reverted back to 10.04 for now, which functions excellently. Hope this helps you guys, keep up the good work! Barney
