View->Quicksearch
View->toolbar
states are remembered but not used when restarting the application.

Hmm, well try it out and see if you can reproduce the weirdness: toggle toolbars on/off, exit the application and start the application again. You will probably notice that they come back on (or stay off) and that the corresponding menu items checkboxes don't match their state.

The expected behavior is that if I turn off a toolbar or widget, it should stay turned off on next startup, and that the checkbox menu item that controls it should properly be set too.

But the first thing to do would be to see if you can reproduce this problem to ensure I am not psychotic.
