Binary package hint: gnome-control-
When i work with my netbook 10,1" + VGA monitor, I can get dual-screen only if the two screen are configured one above the other. Don't work if I have one beside the other

Hi,
I wonder if this is due to a hardware limitation; some cards can't handle more than 2048 pixels across.
Please provide:
the output of lspci | grep -i vga
the resolution of the two monitors
a copy of your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
