flashing while navigating using any dark theme, some dark themes make text non-readable

I'm marking this Incomplete because it specifies neither a theme, nor text that fails to display in that theme.

In Ubuntu 11.10, the only dark theme that is easy to choose (without installing gnome-tweak-tool) is High Contrast Inverse. I have reported bug 844814, bug 845005, and bug 845010 about specific text in that theme.
