Bug Description

I convert mkv movie files to PS3 format using command:
mencoder in.mkv -ovc xvid -xvidencopts fixed_quant=2 -oac mp3lame -sid 0 -subfont-text-scale 3 -o out.avi

This works fine in 32 bit 10.04, but does not work in 64bit environment. The produced file can be played with local vlc, but Sony PS3 does not play it.

As a workaround, I installed 32 bit ubuntu into virtualbox and run the conversion there.

There are very few differences in the output:

Hi,

Could you test if this happens with the Ubuntu package too?

Thanks.
