Bug Description

I tried to install the currend nVidia Driver (for 9500 GT) on a computer running 10.04 desktop on a USB stick. The "additional drivers" dialogue gave me two drivers, one was the current and recommended one. It downloaded the driver and completed the progress bar, then it showed a "SystemError: installArchives() failed" message.
