Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

I tried to print my pdf document, which I created using texlive, through an HP printer. The title, index and header of the document that printed are mostly incorrect, the letter are all over the page. I would like to attached one of the page, however, I don't have a scanner.

I don't think it's the problem of the printer or driver, because adobe reader printed out the document correctly. Here is the printer's spec anyway:

Could you please attach the original document to this bug report.

Also, does the problem occur in print preview? What about if you print to PDF? If so, please attach a screenshot/s.

I can not provide you with the original report due to privacy issues, however, I attached a sample tex files and a pdf file. Evince creates the same issues when printing the pdf file.

I have a clean install of Ubuntu 10.10 as well, but I still have this bug, or at least, the one marked as duplicate https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/662346. I have attached a different sample PDF and a screenshot of what actually occurs. (print preview different from actual evince display).

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.
