i was running update manager and it said it couldn't update because of some dependency problems.

I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Problem Solved and now running on kernel 2.6.35-22 generic on ubuntu 10.10....!!!!
