Wrong icons for Shotwell in Unity

When I run Shotwell under Unity, we see two separate icon problems.

First, in the left-hand sidebar, instead of showing the Shotwell application icon it shows a terminal (or default-application) icon with a red crossed-circle inside it (suggesting, I think, that no icon can be found).

Second, when the Application Launcher is brought up, I consistently see a strange icon for Shotwell, the planet Earth inside a cartoon speech bubble. We've also seen it come up as the DevHelp icon.

Hi, sorry I can't reproduce the issue with the icon here with the latest Unity version. However there is an issue with menus that you've reported separately.

Can you check the version of unity you're running, as well as the version of the bamfdaemon package?

both Jim and I see the wrong Shotwell icon in Unity as Jim described. I have unity 0.2.44-0ubuntu1 and bamfdaemon 0.2.58-0ubuntu1.

the issue does not happen in Natty Narwal Alpha1 with compiz based unity. we can ofcource re-open this bug if anyone still faces this issue.

Have encountered this bug in 11.04
Shotwell Photo Manager icon and Label is blank (see attachment)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Hover mouse over left of screen to show Launcher
2. Click Applications
3. Search for "photo"
4. Drag "Shotwell Photo Manager" into Launcher

Sysinfo:

OS: Ubuntu 11.04 (natty)
Gnome: 2.32.1 (Ubuntu 2011-04-14)
Kernel: 2.6.38-8-generic (#42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:50 UTC 2011)
