Thank you for opening this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, 'none' does not help us: we would like to know how the update started, and where the new packages would be. I can see a lot of errors relating to CDROM 280 seconds or so after boot, but I do not know if they are related. Also, interestingly, we are missing the DpkgTerminalLog attachment that would give us a bit more of details.
