Bug Description
Binary package hint: empathy
User should be able to combine different IM contacts(yahoo, gtalk, facebook etc) of the same person and just a single name should be displayed thereby making the contact list more compact. On hovering mouse cursor on the name, the various IM contact details could be shown.
PS: Essentially this is the feature that's already been implemented in Pidgin.
